Privacy Policy — Second Shift
Who we are
Second Shift lets a creator run an AI twin of themselves as the host of their own TikTok LIVE. The twin reads the live chat, answers guests in the creator's chosen personality style, and can talk about the creator's own shop products. The host is an AI, and it is always labeled as one (see "AI disclosure" below).
What we collect
- Your account details: your name and email address when you sign up for Second Shift.
- Your connected TikTok account: when you connect TikTok, you do it through TikTok's own authorization screen. We receive your TikTok handle and the authorization TikTok grants us. We never ask for, see, or store your TikTok password.
- Your settings: the personality style you pick for your twin, any products you add for the twin to talk about, and your blocklist.
- Your stream records: records of the streams your twin hosted for you — the chat messages the twin responded to, gifts and products mentioned, and the numbers in your Morning Report.
- Payment information: memberships are paid through Stripe. Stripe handles your card. We never see or store your full card number.
How we use it
- To run the twin you configured, in your own live room, on your own connected account.
- To produce your Morning Report after each stream.
- To enforce the safety guardrails (blocklist, chat moderation) that protect your room.
- To bill your membership and provide support.
What we never do
- We do not sell your personal data. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.
- We never connect, access, or operate any TikTok account other than the one you connected yourself.
- We never collect TikTok passwords — the connection happens only through TikTok's own authorization.
AI disclosure
Every stream hosted by a Second Shift twin carries a permanent on-screen "AI HOST" badge for the entire stream. If a guest asks, the twin says plainly that it is an AI. We state this in our public policy because it is how the product works, not a setting a member can turn off.
Who we share data with
Only the service providers needed to run Second Shift — our hosting provider, Stripe for payments, and TikTok itself through the authorization you granted — and only if the law requires it. Nobody else.
How long we keep it
Stream and chat records are kept only as long as needed for your Morning Reports and for safety review, and then deleted. Account details are kept while your account is open. If you close your account, your data is deleted on request.
Your controls
- Disconnect TikTok at any time. Disconnecting ends all access to your TikTok account immediately.
- Ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to delete it, by emailing FredNMills1983@yahoo.com.
- Close your account entirely at any time.
Security
Data is protected with encryption in transit (HTTPS) and stored on access-controlled systems. No system is perfect, but access to member data is limited to what running the service requires.
Who can use Second Shift
Members must be old enough to hold a TikTok account and to go LIVE on it, and may only connect accounts they own.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
